Respond to Public Consultations

What is it?

At key stages in the production of the local development plan, the Council will undertake Public Consultations which provide an opportunity for members of the public to comment on forthcoming planning policies and guidance.

The following consultations are anticipated late Spring 2017:

• SG1 - The Placemaking Principle Supplementary Guidance
• SG3 - Economic Development Supplementary Guidance
• SG6 - Green Belt and Green Network Supplementary Guidance
• SG12 - Delivering Development Supplementary Guidance

During the consultation phase copies of the Supplementary Guidance will be available to be viewed and downloaded and representations made through the Consultation Hub.

Previous Consultations

All public consultations undertaken by the Council in relation to the Local Development Plan can be found through the Consultation Hub.

The following consultations were open for public consultation:

Between Monday 4 August 2014 and Monday 15 September 2014:

• SG8 - Water Management

Between Monday 13 June 2016 and Monday 25 July 2016:

• SG9 - Historic Environment Supplementary Guidance
• SG7 - Natural Environment Supplementary Guidance
• SG11 - Sustainable Transport Supplementary Guidance

Between Monday 7 November 2016 and Monday 19 December 2016:

• SG4 - Network of Centres Supplementary Guidance
• SG5 - Resource Management Supplementary Guidance
• SG6 - Meeting Housing Needs Supplementary Guidance

To view these consultations click onto the Consultation Hub and search for Completed Consultations and select option for Advance Search.  Select Planning and Regeneration from the drop down menu under Topic/subject and click Search.

Subscribe/Register

If you wish to be added to the Consultation Database for Glasgow City Development Plan 2 please subscribe by completing the online registration form.  If you have already requested to be kept informed you do not have to register again.

Please note we may use this information to keep you notified of other Development Plan related matters including consultation on the Open Space Strategy which will commence in the autumn.
