Please note, we cannot guarantee the processing of Firework Licence Applications for approval and issue of Licences in time for the fireworks season if received after 18 October 2024.
When do I need one?
All traders who intend to store fireworks must be licensed in terms of the Explosives Regulations 2014 on an annual basis.
How much does it cost?
Net explosive quantity of fireworks to be stored:
- Under 250kg:
initial application - £119.00
renewal application - £59.00 - Over 250kg:
initial application - £202.00
renewal application - £94.00
The application will not be accepted without the correct fee. The fee is non-refundable.
