What is it?

Glasgow is one of the United Kingdom's most important historic cities with many listed buildings by architects of world renown.

Grants for historic buildings and associated projects are available through Glasgow City Heritage Trust (GCHT) and Historic Environment Scotland (HES). HES administers a national Historic Environment Repair Grants Scheme.

In addition, the Council's Housing Service provides grant funding for private residential property and includes works to traditional tenement properties. Details of this scheme of housing grants can be found Grants for Property Repairs.
