Core Pay: £20,816.97 - £22,726.96 per annum (pro rata)

Non-Core Pay: WCD: £607.00 per annum (pro rata), NSWP: Dependant on Work Pattern

Work Pattern: Various

Hours of Work: 30 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Home Care Co-ordinator working within the Care Services area of the business, where you will report to the Area Operations Manager.

The Home Care Service provides support to predominantly vulnerable service users. As an Out of Hours Co-ordinator, you will be the first point of contact for Home Carers, escalating issues as appropriate to the Area Operations Manager.

You will be required to prepare and maintain Personal Support Plans for service users in your area and carry out workplace observations of your home care team, ensuring a high quality service is being provided, which meets the National Care Standards. You may be required to undertake Home Care duties to service users as and when required.

Applicants must possess good organisational and communication skills coupled with the ability to monitor, co-ordinate and supervise the work of a group of Home Carers, providing advice, guidance and support.

Experience of working with vulnerable service users in a care setting is required.

Applicants should be qualified, working towards or have the ability to undertake and attain a qualification at SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and a relevant management qualification (SCQF level 7) to meet the requirements of registration to the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

This position is subject to membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and will be subject to registration to the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
