Building Standards Register

What is the Building Standards Register?

The Building Standards Register is an online interactive applications register designed to meet the requirements of Section 24 of the Building (Scotland) Act 2003 which requires local authorities to keep a Building Standards Register for the geographical area of their authority.


Important Notice

Due to essential maintenance of our systems, the online Building Standards services will be unavailable between 5pm, Thursday 4th May 2017 and 9am, Wednesday 10th May 2017.

  • Building Warrant data is available from 1 January 1999
  • Statutory Notice data is available from 1 May 2005

Housing Notices

Please note that Housing Notices served under Sections 30 and 33 of the Housing (Scotland) Act 2006 are not included in this register.
