The Breeding of Dogs Acts 1973 and 1991 require that a breeding establishment must be licensed.
A "breeding establishment" applies to any person who carries out a business of breeding dogs with a view to their dogs being sold in the course of such business.
The Act prescribes standards of management and accommodation and provides a process for inspection.
To apply for a licence, return your completed application form with the appropriate fee to the Licensing Section.
