Our Performance

What is it?

We provide quarterly statistics to the Scottish Government which reports on the speed of decision making on planning applications.

Summary

The Scottish Government in conjunction with planning authorities introduced a new planning performance framework (PPF) in 2012 based on a balanced scorecard approach, covering the following main headings:

  • Open for Business
  • High Quality development on the Ground
  • Certainty
  • Communications, Engagement and Customer Service
  • Effective and Efficient Decision Making
  • Effective Management Structures
  • Financial Management and Local Governance, and
  • Culture of Continuous Improvement

Planning Performance Framework

The framework measures the quality of the planning service and is used to identify and encourage ongoing improvements. Glasgow City Council's Planning Performance Framework Annual Report for 2015-16 is available under related documents.

Customer Satisfaction Survey

We are continually looking for ways to improve the service we provide to our customers. One way we achieve this is by asking for your views.

We would like to do this through our online Customer Satisfaction Survey which can be accessed under Contact Us. Your feedback will be valuable in helping us improve the service we provide.

All responses will be treated with the strictest confidence.

If you have any problems with the survey please Email Development and Regeneration Services.
