How can I find out the results of a food outlets last inspection?

We participate in the National Food Hygiene Information Scheme. This scheme allows consumers to find out how food outlets fared at their last food hygiene inspection. View the ratings by clicking on the Food Hygiene Ratings link under related links on this page.

Food Hygiene Information Scheme

We also participate in The EatSafe Award Scheme which is operated by Food Standards Scotland. It involves the grant of an Eat Safe Award to food businesses which have achieved a particularly high standard of hygiene management.

Food Allergens

The Food Information (Scotland) Regulations 2014 include specific duties for Food Business in relation to Food Allergens.
