Fuel Poverty is one of the five key national housing priorities outlined by the Scottish Government.
The national target is to eliminate Fuel Poverty, as far as reasonable practicable, in Scotland by November 2016. In December 2014, the Scottish Government published an update to its Fuel Poverty Statement 2002 which examines current progress in achieving this target.
Glasgow's Affordable Warmth Action Plan 2011-2016 sets out how the Council intends to achieve this target. This action plan forms part of Glasgow's Housing Strategy and sets out the priorities for tackling affordable warmth in Glasgow.
