Common Housing Register

What is it?

A key element of delivering Glasgow's Housing Strategy is the introduction of a Common Housing Register (CHR) for Glasgow called Glasgow Housing Register.

It is anticipated that "Glasgow Housing Register" will be available to the public by Spring 2017.

A CHR is a single housing list for a local authority area, maintained (on a database) on behalf of all social housing providers. It is accessed by applicants through completion of a single or common application form. Currently, applicants may have to fill in a number of forms to secure accommodation in a part of the City.
