There are many waste contractors that operate within the City of Glasgow. Use of a search engine such as Google or Bing will provide this information for you.

What type of waste facilities will I need for my business needs?

Depending on the amount of waste you produce there are number of services in place for dealing with your waste ranging from commercial waste sacks, commercial receptacles and skips. Your contractor will be able to provide you with the details of services they offer.

I understand I need to recycle under the new Waste Scotland Regulations. How do I achieve this?

Please refer to your waste contractor, as they will be able to assess what your business will need in terms of recycling.

I have been having issues regarding my waste collection service and my waste is not being picked up. What should I do?

You are responsible for your waste. If you are having issues with your waste you must contact your contractor and resolve the issue immediately.

I have a contract for commercial waste bags. When should I put them out for collection?

Sacks can be presented for up to one hour before they are due to be uplifted. If for any reason your waste is not uplifted it must be returned to your premises and contact your waste provider for advice

A neighbouring business is dumping waste out on the footpath, what should I do?
