The Hearing Impairment Inclusion Support Service
The Hearing Impairment Inclusion Support Service is based at St Roch's Primary School. The team work together with other schools, services and NHS partners to support children and young people with a hearing impairment across the city. Teachers are trained in the area of hearing impairment and work with pre-school children in the home or nursery and with pupils in primary and secondary schools.
Most children and young people in Glasgow who have a hearing impairment will attend their local mainstream school.
