SG10: Meeting Housing Needs
What is it?
The guidance provides detailed assessment criteria for various non-mainstream residential uses including purpose built student accommodation, multiple occupancy and care in the community housing.
There is also guidance on tourist accommodation and short stay accommodation.
Student Accommodation
Section 2 of SG10 (Student Accommodation) has been revised following public consultation that concluded in January 2021. This was approved by Council on June 17th, 2021 and following scrutiny by the Scottish Government is adopted for operation from 11th October.
