Lord Provost distributes toys and food across city
Lorry loads of toys and food have been distributed across the city, ahead of Christmas, thanks to generous donations to the Lord Provost's Toy and Food Bank Appeals.
Lord Provost Eva Bolander said: "The response has been fantastic. I'd like to thank everyone who has contributed.
"You'll be bringing a smile to a child's face this Christmas and helping people who have very little, experience some festive joy.
"My office has been overwhelmed by the kindness of staff who've handed in toys, food, toiletries and clothing. My thanks also to City Building, the Merchants House, the Emmie Smillie Charity Foundation and others for their donations.
"These gifts have been distributed to kinship carers, food banks, churches and charities across the city."
