Position: Hospitality Services Team Leader - Internal

Duration: Permanent

Role Profile/Grade: CAT3/Grade 4

Core Pay: £23,537.38 - £25,447.38 per annum

Non Core Payment: £1,903.00 per annum

Hours of Work: 35 hours per week

Work Schedule: To be worked flexibly 5 over 7 days, to be worked between 8.00 am to 1.00am, including weekends

An opportunity has arisen for the position of Hospitality Services Team Leader working within the The City Halls and Old Fruitmarket and also at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall where you will report to the Hospitality Services Manager.

You will lead a team of Hospitality Representatives responsible for delivering a quality customer focused catering service, to a wide range of customers. Your main duties and responsibilities will include daily banking procedures, maintaining and ordering of stocks, delivering catering to a set standard on time and within budget.

In addition you will be responsible for the motivation, training and supervision of the hospitality team in all aspects of catering including health and safety, environmental health and cleaning.

You will be required to work closely with the location operator considering new initiatives and enhancing sales. The successful applicant will be dedicated and highly motivated with the ability to demonstrate an in depth knowledge of all service types and will ideally have a proven track record within these types of operations.

You will have supervisory experience, with the ability to communicate with internal and external customers, whilst ensuring performance targets are achieved. There is a requirement to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
