Early Career Network (ECN)

Are you a young person starting out your career in the council? If so, the new Early Career Network (ECN) is for you.

The ECN is a commitment from our Youth Strategy to develop a networking/social space and forum created for those who are new to the council and at an early stage in their career. It is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow newcomers, those on our youth programmes, learn about different services and roles within the council, and discover best practice in local government.

What being part of the network will offer:

• Talks, forums, and social events throughout the year.
• A platform to share ideas, collaborate and learn from each other.
• Opportunities to help you develop and progress your career in the council.
• Opportunities to volunteer and help shape the network.
