Information for Prospective Candidates and Nomination Pack
Following the recent passing of Councillor Kenny McLean, a by-election will be held on Thursday 5 December to elect 1 member to Ward 23 - Partick East / Kelvindale. A Notice of Election was published on 3 October 2024. Nominations open on Tuesday 22 October at 10am and close on Friday 1 November at 4pm. You may be intending to stand as a Candidate in this by-election and trust you will find the following information of assistance.

Access to Elected Office Fund - Inclusion Scotland
The Access to Elected Office Fund (Scotland) is now open for disabled people standing in the local council elections. The Fund offers financial and non-financial support to remove any barriers applicants may face when campaigning. It is funded by the Scottish Government and administered by Inclusion Scotland.
