Succession and Career Planning
Succession and Career Planning Framework and Guidance
Our framework provides a model of 'good practice principles' that provides a general method to help services develop and implement their own succession and career planning process that meets their operational and professional requirements.
The framework takes you through our process step by step and contains a selection of information, support and tools that can be used at each step. You can access these by selecting the appropriate links below. It should be used in conjunction with the established Performance coaching and review process and the Employee Performance Improvement Framework.
To help support you to understand and undertake the process of Succession and Career Planning you should complete the new Succession and Career Planning GOLD Course.
If you would like more information about Succession and Career Planning, please contact Nicola Findlay (Organisational Development Team) or Liz Hamilton (Chair).
