Cowie, Norman 31221 (1898 - 1916)

Norman was the son of Mrs Ephie McQueen of Bridgeton, Glasgow.

He killed in action on 30th July 1916 at High Wood in the Somme. His brother, Thomas Cowie, lost a leg in the same battle but survived.

His name is recorded on the Thiepval Memorial.
