Greater Pollok Local Development Framework

The City Development Plan has proposed three Local Development Frameworks (LDF) to deliver planning change in three communities of the city where an additional layer of planning guidance would be helpful.

Consultation

We consulted the public on the Draft Greater Pollok LDF over a 10-week period between the 21 November 2023 through to the 5 February 2024.

Status

The Greater Pollok LDF has been redrafted to take on board the various representations gathered throughout the consultation process. The Final Draft LDF was approved by the Council's City Administration Committee on 24^th October 2024 and is now being submitted to the Scottish Government for formal approval as supplementary guidance to the City Development Plan.

In accordance with Section 8(1) of the Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act 2005, following screening the Council has determined that Strategic Environmental Assessment will not be required for the Greater Pollok LDF.
