Greater Pollok Local Development Framework

Get in touch

The City Development Plan proposes three Local Development Frameworks (LDF) to deliver planning change within three communities in the city where it's recognised an additional layer of planning guidance would be helpful.

Community Engagement

The Greater Pollok Local Development Framework (LDF) will provide a structure for future development in the Greater Pollok area of Glasgow. It will include guidance on developments for public spaces, parks and play areas, housing, shop, business areas, community facilities, transport infrastructure, roads, pavements.

We want the people of Greater Pollok to have a real say in what goes into the LDF and any proposals that might emerge from it.

Take part in the Survey

The survey information you provide will help us find out more about the issues and priorities that matter most to the people and stakeholders who live and work in Greater Pollok.

If you wish to take part, please complete our Survey and use the Common Place Map at the end to share your thoughts on specific spaces/sites/locations in the area.

Please Note: Closing Date for responses is Friday, 9th September 2022 at close of business 5 pm.

Once we have gathered your initial thoughts on issues and opportunities, we will prepare a draft LDF document which can then be shared with the community and stakeholders for their comments.  We'll then prepare a final document which we'll also share before adopting this as a 'formal strategy for the area.'

Public consultation is expected to commence once a draft LDF has been completed.  More details will be provided in due course.

Currently the Greater Pollok LDF is out for 1st Stage - Initial Consultation.
