Council agrees to raise awareness of the White Ribbon Campaign through regular updates and features in publications, websites and noticeboards. Council will provide support to ongoing efforts by staff and councillors to take a stand against violence and to take the pledge never to commit, condone or remain silent about men's violence against women. Council will continue to work closely with local agencies and organisations involved in tackling violence against women to extend knowledge and understanding of the issues amongst Glasgow's population."
