Bin collection delays

There are currently delays with the following bin collections:

Access Issues:

Green Bins: Onslow Dr, Aberfoyle St, Aberfeldy St, Cumbernauld Rd, Corsock St, Alexandra Parade, Ardressie Place, Drumry Rd, Ledmore Dr and Norham St.

Blue Bins: Aberfeldy St, Aderdour St, Kennyhill St, Walter St, Raithburn Rd and Raithburn Ave.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience. We anticipate the backlog at the above locations to be cleared on Tuesday 21st February. If you have experienced a missed bin collection please let us know using our Report it online form.

What is a missed bin collection?

A missed bin collection is when we have not emptied your bin after 6pm on the scheduled collection day.

Before you report a missed bin collection please check:

  • Your bin was on the kerbside from 7am
  • You have put your bin our on the right day: you can use our collection calendar to check your collection days
  • You bin is not contaminated e.g. items which should not be put in the bin are in the bin
  • Your bin is not overloaded and the bin lid is fully closed

You can also report a missed bin using our MyGlasgow app. You can download our app from your app store.

You can also report a missed bin by phoning us on 0141 287 9700.

How long does it take to collect a missed bin?

It can take us up to 7 days to return to collect a missed bin. If you have already contacted us to report a missed bin collection, please allow 7 days before contacting us again.
