Duration: Permanent

Role Profile/Grade: CFUS5B/Grade 5

Core Pay: £24,636.95 - £28,495.52  per annum

Hours of Work: 35 hours

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, Flexibly between 6.00am to 6.00pm

A number of exciting opportunities have arisen for the position of Assistant Area Operations Manager working within Facilities Management, where you will report to the Area Operations Manager and support in the delivery of Catering, Cleaning, Janitorial and the School Crossing Patrol Services within various locations.

The main duties and responsibilities will include staff supervision and ensuring that the services are monitored and delivered to the highest standard. You will assist the Area Operations Manager in the management of attendance, recruitment, disciplinary, grievance issues and liaising with onsite management, as part of the overall strategy to improve service delivery. You will undertake on and off the job training and develop staff whilst adhering to current Health and Safety at work legislation at all times.

The successful applicant will be a confident, creative, self-motivated and forward thinking individual possessing strong relationship management, planning and organisational skills.

You will have a flexible approach to service delivery and demonstrate the ability to communication effectively with internal and external customers, and meet performance targets. There is a requirement to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
