Council further notes the Scottish Government's latest Programme for Government, which includes an ambitious programme of 13 Bills and policy proposals of direct interest to the citizens of Glasgow and help to address some of the long-standing challenges facing the city, including an Education Bill, Higher Education Governance Bill, Public Health Bill, Carers Bill and Community Charge Debt Bill. Council pledges to work constructively with the Scottish Government and partner organisations to achieve the best outcomes for Glasgow and Scotland from Scotland's Programme for Government.".
