This is the list of documents available for the submission By Councillor Helen Stephen:- "Council notes that, over the last 10 years, the number of households in the private rented sector has doubled to 368,000 and that the number of households in poverty in the private rented sector has also doubled to 120,000; further acknowledges that rents in Glasgow have risen by nearly 11% in 4 years and that the average city rent now stands at £626 a month; welcomes Shelter Scotland's Make Renting Right campaign and supports its calls for reform of the private rented sector, and, in particular, reforms to provide tenants with greater security of tenure, including longer standard tenancies, predictable rents for tenants and support for the principle of the introduction of a cap on rent rises and the limitation of rent reviews to one per annum.".
