Hardgate Road Northbound Essential Works

We are planning to carry out essential permanent patching works at the northbound carriageway of Hardgate Road at Shieldhall Road.

This work will require a road closure of the northbound carriageway of Hardgate Road at Shieldhall Road.

All vehicles entering the hospital will be diverted via the hospital entrance in Govan Road.

The works are planned to take place on Sunday 16 February 2025 between 0930hrs and 1630hrs.

The southbound carriageway of Hardgate Road will remain open during the works.

The following diversion will be in operation via :

Westbound: Continue on Shieldhall Road to Renfrew Road Northbound then Eastbound to the main QEU hospital entrance at Govan Road.

Eastbound: Continue on Shieldhall Road Eastbound to the Shieldhall roundabout, turn left to the Clyde Tunnel expressway, take the off slip to Moss Road, turn left to Govan Road and continue to the main QEU hospital entrance.

Delays are to be expected and drivers are advised to use alternative routes.
