Organisational Development Framework
We are committed to developing and supporting our staff in a number of key areas, whilst directly linking in with the Council`s Strategic Plan. Our Organisational Development Framework Focuses on the following areas: -
- Our Vision and Values, promoting pride in the city and what our people have achieved.
- Leadership, development and building a learning culture.
- Partnership working across the organisation to encourage new ways of working.
Vision
Our vision and values as a council are important, as these define our organisational priorities and principles. As detailed in our strategic plan, a key priority for the Council is "Supporting a fair and sustainable city where everyone gets to contribute and all can benefit from a flourishing Glasgow'.
Our Organisational Development Framework supports behavioural change, as we understand that in order to meet this vision, we need to create an environment where staff, regardless of their role feel valued, motivated, involved and inspired to make a difference as they carry out their jobs on a day-to-day basis.
Our Approach
We have a planned and systematic approach to achieving our vision with our focus on the development of people in areas that make a difference across the organisation, while continually encouraging them to acknowledge the difference they make every day working for the people of Glasgow.
