Nicholas Kerr was a private in the 2nd Battalion of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlands. He was killed in action in the Battle of the Lys in 1918 and is buried at the Mont Noir Military Cemetery, St Jans-Cappel in France.
Nicholas was the son of Ellen Britton of 52 Main Street, Thornliebank, Glasgow.
