Community Council Elections

Information is provided below on Full Elections for Community Councils which take place in October each year, on a rotating 4 yearly cycle. Any Interim Elections and relevant details will be provided below when these arise.

Statement of Persons Nominated and Notice of Poll Contested Interim Election - Central Maryhill Community Council on Wednesday 4^th June 2025

1. The following 10 persons have been and now stand nominated for election as a member to serve in the Central Maryhill Community Council.
2. A contested interim election for 9 vacancies will be held on Wednesday 4^th June 2025 at The MacIntosh Halls, 15-17 Shakespeare Street, Maryhill, Glasgow, G20 8TH.
3. The Poll opens at 5.30pm and closes at 7.30pm. The names of the Candidates will be printed on the ballot paper in the same order as below.
4. All persons who are resident in the Central Maryhill Community Council boundary area; are 16 years of age or over, and who's names appear on Glasgow City Council's Electoral Register (as at 12^th March 2025) for the same Community Council boundary area shall be entitled to vote.

Interim Election - Pollokshaws and Eastwood Community Council on 10/06/2025

Nominations are invited from residents who are 16 years or over, who live within the Pollokshaws and Eastwood Community Council boundary area and are on the Electoral Register to join Pollokshaws and Eastwood Community Council.

There are 7 vacancies currently being advertised and the closing date for submission of nomination forms is 30/05/2025.

Interim Election - Toryglen Community Council on 12/06/2025

Nominations to join the above named Community Council are invited from residents who are 16 years or over and who live within the above named Community Council boundary.

There are 4 vacancies currently being advertised and the closing date for submission of nomination forms is 05/06/2025.
