This year Glasgow was the city chosen to host the prestigious Michelin Guide Awards with the ceremony at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum followed by an after-party at the Old Fruitmarket.

The work began several months before the event, with Encore entering a competitive tender process for the event catering which they ultimately won.

Ross McKenzie, Senior Operations Manager and Neil Henry, Business and Events Manager at Encore worked closely with Michelin in the run up to the event, ensuring that their exacting standards were met. The menu, created by Head Chef, Ross Welch focused on sustainability and Scottish produce.

On the night our Service Delivery Managers Colin Davidson at Kelvingrove and Morven Crichton and Angus Cooper at the Old Fruitmarket worked alongside our fantastic wider team to ensure flawless delivery. During the course of the event we welcomed more than 600 attendees, serving more than 7,200 canapes all prepared in our on-site kitchen!

The evening was a resounding success, with great feedback from guests and partners.
