Regeneration

  • City Plan - provides detailed guidance on the shape, form and direction of the development of Glasgow.
  • Economic Development Strategy - provides the policies and measures to ensure the continued growth of the Glasgow economy.
  •  Metro Glasgow 2008 - The document sets out the city region's underlying objectives, agenda for action as well as performance measurements.
  • Glasgow City Centre Transport Strategy (PDF) [7MB]  - this concentrates on promoting and enhancing sustainable transport modes such as walking, cycling and public transport.
  • Clyde Waterfront Strategy - outlines key projects along the banks of the River Clyde which have brought and will bring economic, social and environmental improvements to Glasgow.
  •  Glasgows Tourism Strategy 2016 - this outlines Glasgow's vision for 2016 to be a leading destination in key markets offering a unique, dynamic and authentic experience with three key targets.
  • Resource and Recycling Strategy 2020-30 - describes the future delivery and waste management infrastructure in Glasgow.
  • Glasgow and the Clyde Valley Joint Strategic Development Plan:
    • sets out a strategy for development of the Glasgow and Clyde Valley metropolitan area;
    • sets out the housing issues and priorities for Glasgow;
    • outlines our strategic measures and actions planned to address the serious challenges the organisation faces as a result of global warming both now, and in the future.

Equality and Diversity

  • Equality Policy - this is the policy which will shape and guide the equalities work which reflects the commitment to providing high quality services that everyone can use and to valuing the diversity of our employees.

  • Employee Harassment Policy - our policy for employees when they perceive they are being bullied or harassed.
  • Anti-Racist Policy Statement (Word doc) [21KB]  - outlines our legal and moral duty to strive to eliminate racism in Glasgow.
