Poisons Act Registration
The Control of Poisons and Explosives Precursors Regulations 2015 amended the Poisons Act 1972 so that Local Authorities no longer have any legal duties in relation to the Poisons Act 1972.
The new regulations mean that members of the public must have a licence issued by the Home Office and enforced by the Police Scotland before they can acquire certain poisons and suppliers can only supply licence holders. Visit the Home Office website for more information.
