What is it?

The SG10: Meeting Housing Needs guidance provides detailed assessment criteria for various non-mainstream residential uses including purpose built student accommodation, multiple occupancy and care in the community housing.

There is also guidance on tourist accommodation and short stay accommodation.

Student Accommodation

Section 2 of SG10 (Student Accommodation) has been revised following public consultation that concluded in January 2021. This was approved by Council on June 17, 2021 and following scrutiny by the Scottish Government is adopted for operation from 11 October.

Consultation concluded on 19 December 2016.

Adopted

These have now been adopted.
