Hardship Rate Relief

The Council recognises that major incidents can have a significant impact on businesses and their ability to pay rates.

In these circumstances, hardship rate relief may be available to affected businesses.

At present, hardship relief may be available to businesses suffering hardship as a result of fire damage to Victoria's Nightclub on 22nd March 2018 and the Glasgow School of Art Mackintosh building on 15th June 2018.

All applications for Relief will be assessed taking account of individual circumstances.
