Naloxone has been used to reverse opioid overdoses for more than ten years, but only recently has public awareness and accessibility of the life-saving drug increased rapidly.

Glasgow councillors are being trained to use naloxone - a drug which can help prevent fatal overdoses.

Almost 100 awards were given to participants in last week's graduation ceremony for qualifications, training and personal development programmes completed by individuals in recovery from drug and/or alcohol misuse.
