Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982

Resolution - Sexual Entertainment Venues

A Resolution made by this Authority under Section 45B of the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 in respect of Sexual Entertainment Venues Under Section 45B of the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 ("1982 Act") the Licensing Authority on 24 March 2021, resolved that:

1. Schedule 2 of the 1982 Act shall have effect throughout the Local Authority area in relation to the licensing of Sexual Entertainment Venues; and
2. Subject to the terms of the 1982 Act, a Sexual Entertainment Venue licence shall be required for the use of premises as places of sexual entertainment from 24 September 2022.
   
   The definition given to "Sexual Entertainment Venue" is detailed in section 45A of the 1982 Act.
