Angus, Thomas 33371 (1883 - 1918)

Thomas was a private serving with the 7th/8th Battalion of the King's Own Scottish Borderers in the First World War. He was killed in action as part of the battle for Buzancy. Buzancy was reached (though not held) by the 1st American Division on the 21st July, 1918, after an advance begun on the 18th. It was attacked by the 15th (Scottish) and 34th Divisions on the 23rd July, and taken on the 28th.


He was the son of Thomas Greenhill Angus and Sarah Clunie Angus of Stirling. He was married to Mary and they lived at 57 Kirkland Street, Glasgow at the time of Thomas' death.
