Colin was son of Colin Smith and Mary McLaren Smith (née Wemyss) and the husband of Helen Smith of 106 Broad St, Mile End, Glasgow. They married on the 25th Dec 1914 in Calton, Lanark. He was father to a five month old son, Colin.
