Continuing Care and Employability Services
What is Continuing Care and Employability Services (CCES)?
CCES work with 16 - 26 year olds who are care experienced (and have been cared for by Glasgow City HSCP) to deliver employment, training and further education support. The four teams within the service deliver a range of holistic and individual centred supports across all stages of the employability journey from initial engagement and help to removing barriers to sustaining employment, training or further education. The services work in partnership with social work, public, private and voluntary sectors.
What services do we offer?
We offer the following services:
Care leaver Employment Service (CLES)

- support with barrier removal
Launchpad
- 26-week employability training programme
- opportunity of work experience
- SQA Employability Award
Core Skills
- SQA levels 3,4 & 5 in numeracy, communications and ICT
- small group tuition
- 1:1 support available
Continuing Employment Support (CES)
ongoing in work support to individual and employer

How do I apply to the services?
It is simple to apply. You can do this yourself or get support from your social worker or another professional.
All they need to do is phone 0141 302 2800 and ask for CLES duty or email us and put CLES referral as the subject heading.
We will discuss your employability support needs and complete the necessary referral form.
