Glasgow's Holiday Programme October 2024

Glasgow's Holiday Programme will operate during the October school holiday.

This holiday is between Monday 14 October and Friday 18 October 2024 but please check with organisations which days they will be operating.

Find out what free activities are on offer for children and young people in your local community. There's something on offer for everyone, view the list below to see what activities are available - with free food provided too thanks to our community and third sector providers. The list has contact details for the organisations delivering the programme in your area and all you need to do is get in touch with them to find out more.

Aim of the Programme

The Fund is informed by the Glasgow City Council Strategic Plan and enables community organisations to provide nutritious food to children/young people using their services during school holiday periods. The Fund is for children/young people 0-18 years of age.

Success to Date

During 2018/19 the Children's Holiday Food Programme ran during the Summer, October and February holidays.

The fund is now closed for Applications

Glasgow City Council are no longer accepting applications for the Glasgow's Holiday Programme.
