MS Walk Glasgow 2024
MS Walk Glasgow - Glasgow Green

Entry is £15 for Adults and £7 for kids
Description - Take part in a 1km, 5km, 10km or 20km accessible route on Saturday 28 September 2024 and take in the hidden gems of Glasgow. You'll receive a free t-shirt upon signing up and a medal for taking part.
Starting and finishing in Glasgow Green, the routes take in some of Glasgow's iconic landmarks such as Merchants City, Glasgow Cathedral and The Clyde.
Our 20km route takes you up through Kelvingrove Park, joining a peaceful nature trail beside the canal. This walk takes you over an aqueduct and past five locks before joining the River Kelvin. Finally you'll walk back through the Botanical Gardens to join the 10km route again.

The iconic Terry Fox Run is free and relies on optional donations, non-competitive and open to all, and the goal is to raise funds for cancer research for The Institute of Cancer Research in the name of a true Canadian hero! For the second year in a row, Glasgow is getting a Terry Fox Run and will be bigger and better than ever. The Terry Fox Run was, in the 1980's to 2007, a staple in the calendar across the UK. Now, for the first time ever, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and England will be hosting Terry Fox Runs in the same year. Join us!

The popular West End literary festival will return over the September weekend (26 - 29 September) to offer dozens of events that the organisers hope will engage, surprise and entertain all ages and varied interests.
On the subject of style, TV judge and presenter Banjo Beale will be discussing all things interior design with architect and author Laura Jane Clark. Many styles of poetry are on offer at various locations over the weekend, including Len Pennie, Ross Wilcock at the Curlers Rest and two sessions of spoken word at Òran Mór.

Hayburn Halloween

Halloween in Hayburn Park is for young children to have spooky fun in the park in the dark. Children come accompanied by an adult to meet the Witch of the and to tell a joke at the lucky dip. They can bring a pumpkin for the competition and take part in the spooky parade and costume competition.

The Festive Gthering bringd the community together for a sing and a mince pie. There will be an elf hunt for the youngeer ones. It's a lovely way to celebrate the festive season with some multigenerational mingling. Plaesae bring your own mince pies.
