We work in partnership with several providers to deliver our training - so it could be delivered online or in person. Please check the details when registering. All training courses delivered meet our Equality Outcomes, Healthy Working Lives programme and Health and Wellbeing initiatives.

The council is taking part in this year's national Autumn Step Count Challenge, run by Paths for All. The Challenge will run for 4 weeks, and we are supporting up to 20 teams, of up to 5 members per team, to take part for free! Get a team of five together and join us for this year's autumn Step Count Challenge, beginning on Monday 4 November. As part of Talk Money Week, our resident money experts, Audrey Laing (Money Matters) & Tony Quinn (GEMAP), will lead two interactive masterclasses, helping you build money conversations into your everyday life to give you the confidence to talk to others about money. By the end of the session, you will come away with your own personal money toolkit, practical examples that you can share with others and a deeper understanding of the work happening on the re-design of the financial inclusion sector. |

Learn from the experts what you can do to reduce the risk of cancer and detecting it early. Find out about the cancer screening programmes available in Scotland, get answers to any questions you may have, and where you can find further advice and support if you have any concerns. |
Wednesday 13 November 10am - 11am MS Teams Sign Up | Financial Wellbeing Webinar - Age Scotland This session looks at simple ways to help you streamline your finances and discusses what you can do to minimise your outgoings and maximise your savings. The session is based on feedback from 4,000 people who have attended retirement planning workshops with Age Scotland and shares the things that they say they with they had known 10-20 years earlier. |
Monday 18 November 10am - 11am MS Teams Sign Up | Financial Wellbeing Workshop - Cost of living, energy and support Money Advice Scotland In this workshop, Money Advice Scotland will aim to help participants understand the context of the crisis and how it has affected the price of the energy we use. We will look at some energy saving tips and provide information on the support available if you are struggling with energy debt. |
