Carnoustie Street Works

In order to facilitate essential overhanging vegetation removal, it will be necessary to close Carnoustie Street northbound only between Scotland Street and Wallace Street on 28 November 2024.

The M74 Westbound, right turn only, off ramp to Carnoustie Street Northbound will also be required to be closed within the duration of the works.

I can confirm that the works will be carried out between 0930hrs and 1530hrs.

The following diversions will be in operation:

Eastbound on Scotland Street - continue Scotland Street, left West Street, left Wallace Street to Paisley Road to follow existing Direction Signing.

Westbound on Scotland Street - continue Scotland Street, right Seaward Street, right Paisley Road, straight on Kingston Street, right Tradeston Street, right Cook Street, right West Street.

Delays are to be expected and drivers are advised to use alternative routes.
