Purpose: | To facilitate physical distancing and enable alternative travel / active travel options. |
Detail: | Convert existing nearside vehicular lanes into segregated cycle lanes on both sides of Brockburn Road and install soft segregation using Zicla Zebra measures. Proposal is to install a 100mm wide white line and place product directly at the line to maximise usable cycle lane width. To form the cycle lanes, 'no waiting/no loading' restrictions will be introduced, however the availability of on-street parking will be maintained next to flatted properties at 150-146-140 Brockburn Road. |
