Pollok Country Park Stables Project
Want to find out more information on the project? Subscribe here
We are working to restore and redevelop the A listed Stables and Sawmill in Pollok Country Park. The project seeks to create a net-zero carbon "Living" Heritage Centre and community and visitor attraction based around the famous Clydesdale Horses, and the development of traditional power generation into modern renewable technologies.
The attraction will involve social enterprises and community groups, and will provide opportunities for training and employability, in order to develop local environmental stewardship and contribute to sustainability and wellbeing goals.
This will involve:
- The reintroduction of Clydesdale horses to Pollok Country Park
- A world class heritage centre
- Café and shop
- Education facilities
- Community, event and meeting spaces
We would love to share updates on the project which will also include information on events and fundraising activities, and ways you can support the project.
